Ruger Awarded Top Honor by National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers

Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR) was presented with the "Firearms Manufacturer of the Year" award by the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers. This award, presented at the Association's Annual Meeting in Reno, Nevada on November 7, recognizes Ruger's efforts to provide innovative products, quality customer service, and profitability for distributors of Ruger products. Mike Brown, Chairman of the NASGW Board of Directors, in his presentation of the award remarked, "Ruger sets the bar for achievement, business ethics and promoting an American made culture in our market."

"We are very honored to receive this award from the members of the NASGW," stated Mike Fifer, Ruger CEO. "We are listening to our customers at all levels and are constantly striving to provide new and better products and services. We need to have products that consumers want and a business model that rewards those that help move those products into the marketplace.
