Our auction item this week is a limited production, 75th Anniversary Ruger® LCP® MAX pistol. Ruger's records reflect this pistol was roll marked October 10, 2024. This pistol was a distributor exclusive model and only available for a limited time in 2024. It was one of Ruger's Sales & Marketing photography samples, was never sold and has never been fired beyond normal factory test firing. In 2024 Ruger celebrated its 75th Anniversary with commemorative firearms from each of Ruger's firearm manufacturing facilities. The LCP MAX is manufactured in Ruger's newest manufacturing facility in Mayodan, NC. While still amazingly compact, the LCP MAX is a double-stack, ten-round version of the enormously successful LCP. This Anniversary model features a black slide adorned with an engraved 75th Anniversary logo on the top of the slide. Like all LCP MAX models, this 75th Anniversary LCP MAX features a highly visible tritium front sight, square-ledge, dovetailed rear sight, and a reversible magazine release. Included with this pistol is one 10-round magazine, soft pocket holster, magazine loader, and finger extension floorplate. The pistol has been stored in its original 75th Anniversary cardboard box along with the original instruction manual, marketing materials, and locking device.
This model was introduced in September 2023 and featured a special serial number range of USA24-0001 – USA24-2024. This 10/22® was a Sales & Marketing photography sample and does not have the special serial number range. Ruger's records reflect this rifle was roll marked July 29, 2023. It was never sold and has never been fired beyond normal testing during manufacture. This limited-edition USA Shooting 10/22 Target boasts a blue and red laminate ambidextrous barracuda-style target stock, satin blued 18-inch barrel, BX-Trigger®, and USA Shooting coin located on the stock cap. This model also retains common 10/22 features like the push-button, cross-bolt manual safety, one-piece Picatinny scope base, and 1/2"-28 threaded cold hammer-forged barrel that accommodates the included muzzle brake or other barrel accessories. The rifle will ship in its original rifle box along with a 10-round magazine, original instruction manual and marketing materials, and locking device.
